Free Domain Name Registration
A domain name - that was what I needed for my yet-to-be-established site. I had it all figured out. I got a web design and web content idea, I was aware that I required a Linux hosting solution and that I needed to register a domain.

My principal dilemma was what domain to choose for my site. It had to be memorable, attractive, and, well, free to register! I went through quite a few till I came across one that was available for registration, but then I spotted the outrageous price, as I had settled on a .co.uk domain name. These country-code top-level domain names are obviously more costly than the popular .com, .net, .org, etc. domain names. With my minimal budget, I simply forsake that idea and began considering discovering another web hosting accounts provider. Needless to say, in the beginning I thought that he was joking, but he wasn't. These guys from NTCHosting provide reasonable website hosting packages - on shared web servers, which does not seem to be a problem for small and mid-sized sites. Furthermore, they are United Kingdom-based, and have web hosting servers in the United Kingdom. Well, not only - but also in the US, Sweden and Australia, but what I required was a United Kingdom-based web hosting solution anyway. The greatest bonus, though, is that they give you a free domain name registration if you sign up for one year instead of paying on a monthly basis! That does not apply to .co.uk domain names, unfortunately, since they are registered for a two-year period by default, but .com, .net, .info, .biz and several more domains are offered free of cost, so how could I overlook this free offering?

With the free domain name registration and their cheap domain name and hosting plan prices, these blokes seduced me. I did sign up and even acquired a software tool that could help me build my site - its name is Site Studio. A web site builder with - I did try counting but lost count! - more than seventy web site layouts excellent for both commercial and personal sites. Well, isn't that terrific? And the bonuses continue! I am one lucky lady! Now, enough chatter from me, I should proceed with the creation of my web site work of art!
